Hospitals use autoclaves to sterilize medical instruments, and steam boilers are often used as the heat source. However, in some cases, the steam boilers are also used to supply hot water. Using a vacuum type water heater “Vacotin Heater” instead of a steam boiler for hot water supply reduces the heat loss of steam due to indirect heat exchange, heat radiation from steam pipes, and condensate discharge. In addition, the consumption of water treatment chemicals and regeneration salt for water softeners can also be reduced, contributing to significant energy savings.
