- Established as Takuma Clayton Service Co., Ltd., specializing in the installation, service and maintenance of Clayton steam generators developed through a technical partnership between Takuma Co., Ltd. (then Takuma Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) and an American company, Clayton Industries
Started operations at Takuma’s Kyoto Factory (present Kyoto Factory)

- Developed and mass-produced the world’s first vacuum type water heater “Vacotin Heater” at Takuma’s Kyoto Plant

- Renamed to Takuma CS Engineering Co., Ltd.
Acquired the complete sales agency rights of Vacotin Heaters from Takuma
