Introducing Thermal Oil Boiler – Thermo Heater

If your facilities require a heat source of 300℃ or higher, thermal oil boilers can be effective in improving your productivity and quality. Here we will introduce our thermal oil boiler “Thermo Heater”.

What is the Thermo Heater?

A thermal oil boiler “Thermo Heater” uses thermal oil instead of water, which generates pressure at temperatures above 100℃, and the pressure rises sharply, such as about 4 MPa at 250℃ and about 15 MPa at 340℃. This means that in a steam heating system, your plant must be equipped with high-pressure equipment, and strict safety devices and water treatment are required, but this is not necessary for Thermo Heaters.
Thermo Heaters have a longer product life than steam boilers. One of the reasons for this is that an expansion tank and an oil sump tank are combined with the Thermo Heater to prevent the thermal oil from being exposed to air (high temperature oxidation) during operation of the Thermo Heater. Thermo Heaters are also superior in performance. For example, the efficiency of the Thermo Heater can be improved up to 92% with an air preheater, and a dual fuel burner enables the oil/gas switching operation of the Thermo Heater. As a typical example, Thermo Heaters are used as a heat source in printed circuit board manufacturing and some hydrogen production processes.
